This is an improvement from the blueberry spinach smoothies I used to make when I first started trying to be healthier. I used blueberries, spinach, water and splenda. Yeah... It was edible... But this looks much better!
I tried something along those lines before too. It was too runny and needed something to thicken it up. The avocado did the trick!

Maca is a superfood like chia seeds. It's totally optional and doesn't impact flavor at all.
